Supporting the
Working for charity at Borde Hill Horse Trials
The Multiple Sclerosis Society was again the main beneficiary on Saturday & Sunday May 30th & 31st 2009 at the British Eventing Borde Hill Horse Trials at Borde Hill Garden and Parkland near Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
In 2009 the popular local event again supported local branches of this crucial charity, which does so much to help those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS), the most common disabling neurological condition affecting young adults. Around 85,000 people in the UK have MS.
Nearly £1,000 was raised by those who came to Borde Hill on Saturday and Sunday May 30th & 31st, to help the MS Society. They had a great family day out. Alongside the sporting action, there were a wide selection of trade stands & craft stalls.
The two days of action offered a range of sections including Intro & Pre-Novice sections as well as Novice and Junior Regional Novice.
The three cross-country courses were re-designed for 2009 and as ever made full use of the natural splendour of the venue, its undulating contours and glistening lakes set against the imposing elegance of the 16th century heritage house. The courses were inviting with fair & educational questions for the levels & time of season.
